  Today got me really thinking a lot about free writing. I did my own free writing in class yesterday. But the option you gave us, I feel like I should just write about it since it's been having me just think.  I really like writing in slam poetry/poems so I feel like this is a great topic to write in this type of form.  Things take time We all face problems, Some may be worse than others. I'm in shock that we've already reached the final rough draft. It feels like yesterday we were just talking about the rational argument and how to write it. I'm pretty confident about this rough draft. Even though this rough draft took a lot of time and effort to complete, there are only minor corrections left to do before the final draft is published. It's really somewhat upsetting that Card 101 is coming to an end in just a few weeks. We've already reached the end of our journey. I can't believe it. This course has two more weeks before the last draft is due, followed by finals and the end of the school year.       This Rational Argument taught me a lot through writing. It taught me that not all writing has to be argued towards one side. An argument that is founded on logic and reason is said to be reasonable.         Card 101 was a really knowledgeable week this week. This week taught me a lot. We had research skill training on Monday. I gained a lot of knowledge from the things we discussed and discovered. The webpage that we may use to access the library website was fantastic. The statements beginning with "Or" and "And" were my favorites. I find it fascinating how much those two words may alter during the course of research. For instance, how much they both explicitly narrow down what you are seeking for. I really enjoyed the sheet she gave us and how we could go in some direction if necessary. I just believed that doing this demonstrated our familiarity with the research method, but it will also aid in simplifying the procedure and make it simpler to identify trustworthy websites.       After that, we had a workday on Wednesday.   For my Rational Argument it was hard for me to pick a topic. I narrowed it down to three different topics and decided on my topic after that. For me choosing a topic is not that bad because there are many topics to choose to argue about. But the thing that is hardest for me is finding reliable sources. For finding one I read through certain sections to make sure it is good enough for my point or if it counters it to make sure I have a thing to back it up. I am pretty positive my sources I have so far are pretty reliable and I am confident with them.       The other thing that I oddly struggle on is just trying to write small pieces of the paper at a time. I love to just write the whole paper whether it is a “Shitty First Draft” and it might not be an A paper. I like it because once I get on a roll with writing a paper I honestly dont wanna stop. Freewriting is a technique that we use at the beginning of the class for 5-10 minutes that lets us write whatever we want to without stopping. It lets you just write without even thinking and gets your brain strating. I think this technique is a very useful technique for college students, especially if we are the only person reading them. To me it's like journaling with no care in the world; you just write wherever the pencil takes you you go. It's such a unique topic since you can write about absolutely anything unless we get a topic we have to write about.  Looking back and my freewritings I have noticed a pattern. In most of my freewritings I just write out how I have been feeling through each week or day. It is kind of my mental reboot and reflection. I just write about things that have been stressing me out my week or my weekend, just overall my feelings. It is so nice to just get out some things that may be hard to put into words but you just write it out and it might not...

        In Card 101-1 this week, we concentrated on our documentary project. I really appreciate that we had peer evaluations so that we could see what other people thought of each other's films. Along with how I came to realize what I needed to add or how I might be of assistance to the other individual. I also appreciated the fact that we were given instances to consider and that we discussed one of them in class. I was able to reflect on mine and see what I needed to improve and include in my summary and analysis after doing so.      I also really liked how we changed our free writing for 10 minutes this week. I have had a lot on my mind and I wrote a lot of it out. I also liked what we did today. Where it was half reflection on what we need to fix in our documentary summary and analysis.
