When reading Chapter 1 it was a very eye opening chapter. It made me realize how much high school writing is different from college writing. Writing is just a small part of what we do for a living; no matter what line of work you are in, writing will always be included. You will always need to complete a writing assignment, especially in college. Compared to my previous writing, this writing will be more difficult. We must learn to examine things more closely, as the chapter suggested, focusing more on organization than on little details. All the information will come together if you have good writing organization, making the writing piece you have to do easier. College and any career, in my opinion, will always read more into and between the lines of whatever paper we produce.
